I didn't choose photography. It chose me.

My father was a photographer. For most of my life, I had no real interest in following his path — it was his thing, not mine. Then he passed away, and something shifted. I picked up a camera, almost without thinking, and started taking pictures.

What started as a way to stay close to him became something I couldn't put down.

That was over 15 years ago. Since then, photography has become the lens through which I see the world — sometimes literally. I'm based in St. Petersburg, Florida, where the light does things that still stop me in my tracks, but my work has taken me everywhere. Landscapes, city streets, abstract shapes hiding in plain sight — I shoot it all, because I believe everything is worth a second look.

That's really the core of what I do: I try to take ordinary, everyday things and make them beautiful. Not by changing what's there, but by changing how we see it. A puddle after rain. The geometry of a cell tower. The last light hitting a lake. These moments exist all around us. Most of the time, we walk right past them.

My hope is that when you hang one of my prints on your wall, it does what photography did for me — gives you a small spark of hope. A reminder that the world, even on an ordinary Tuesday, is full of things worth noticing.
